Who Can Get A Library Card?
Everyone who resides in the Wyandanch School District is entitled to a library card.
How Can I Get A Library Card?
You can get a library card by coming into the Library with acceptable documents (listed below).
What Do I Need To Get A Library Card?
- Adults: Proof of residence in the Wyandanch School District and proof of identity
- Grades 9-12: Your Wyandanch School District student ID card, OR proof of residency/identification, OR A parent/guardian with proof of residency/identity
- Birth-Grade 8: A parent/guardian with proof of residency/identity (see below)
We require both proof of identity as well as a proof of residence
Acceptable Proof of Identity includes:
- Current NY State Driver’s License
- Current NYS issued picture non-driver ID card with name and address
- Current Lease
- Current Tax Bill
Acceptable Proof of Residency include
- Current automobile registration
- Automobile insurance
- Bank statement
- Cancelled check
- Utility or credit card bill
- Voter registration postcard
- Mail postmarked within the last 30 days
